You may have noticed: my pictures no longer carry the "raulsantaella.deviantart.com" thingie. The main idea behind that text was to earn a little recognition - but in the end I realized I didn't give a crap about recognition.

I just want to share my pictures with the world.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't give me recognition or a link pointing to me if you use them, though. I'd greatly appreciate that.

A lo mejor os habéis dado cuenta: las fotos que subo ya no tienen el antiestético "raulsantaella.deviantart.com". La idea detrás de ese texto era la de ganar un poco de reconocimiento - pero al final tuve una revelación: el reconocimiento me importa un carajo.

Simplemente quiero compartir mis imágenes con el mundo.

Por supuesto, eso no significa que no debáis darme reconocimiento o un enlace si las usáis. Eso lo apreciaría mucho.

Hello guys, long time no see. Yeah, I deleted the pictures I talked about in my last journal - they were not up to par, and I didn't feel proud of them anyways. This time, after an exhausting party weekend - we celebrated four birthdays! FOUR! - I managed to take some free time and some spare energies to get out with the camera.

Hola muchachos, mucho tiempo sin pasar por aquí. Sí, he borrado las fotos de las que hablé en mi último post - no estaban a la altura, y no me sentía orgulloso de ellas de todas maneras. Esta vez, luego de un agotador fin de semana fiestero - ¡hemos celebrado cuatro cumpleaños! ¡CUATRO! - conseguí sacar algo de tiempo libre y energías extra para salir con la cámara.

Espero que os gusten las nuevas fotos.

I just came here to say two things.

First: My last two weeks have been very busy, with work and non-work. I haven't even been able to find time for myself. That's the reason I haven't been around since the last time.

Second: As I haven't been able to find time to go out with camera in hand, I took this as an opportunity to rediscover old pictures. The last three I uploaded were taken with my old and trusty Nikon L10, before it was defeated by gravity and my clumsy hand. Hope you like them. Though they are noisier than most pubs.

Sólo paso por aquí para decir un par de cosillas.

Primero: Mis dos últimas semanas han estado muy, muy ocupadas, con trabajo y lo que no es trabajo. Ni siquiera he sido capaz de encontrar tiempo para mí mismo. Por eso no he estado por aquí desde la última vez.

Segundo: Ya que no he encontrado tiempo para salir con la cámara, he tomado esto como una oportunidad para redescubrir viejas fotos. Las últimas tres que he subido las hice con mi antigua y fiel Nikon L10, antes de que ésta fuera derrotada por la gravedad y mi torpe mano. Espero que os gusten. Aunque tienen más grano que un adolescente en pleno ataque de hormonas.

After a really long time of construction works, repairing and restauration, they finally inaugurated La plaza de España in Sevilla last weekend. Yeah, the same one in which they filmed that Star Wars scene with Anakin and Padme.

As it was another exhausting weekend - I can't get enough of those - I couldn't get to it. But I'm going to try as hard as I can to go this very weekend, to take as many pictures as I can and to upload a few. I think that place looks awesome enough to warrant a nice photosession.

Después de mucho tiempo de obras, reparaciones y restauración, inauguraron La plaza de España en Sevilla este fin de semana pasado. Sí, la misma en donde rodaron esa escena de Star Wars con Anakin y Padme.

Como fue otro fin de semana agotador - no me canso de ellos, no - no pude ir.  Pero voy a hacer todo lo posible para ir este fin de semana, hacer todas las fotos que pueda y subir unas cuantas. Creo que el lugar es lo bastante chulo como para garantizar una buena sesión de fotos.

After too many parties and too many events, I'm finally relaxing home. It's been a long weekend, I assure you. I went to my first gay wedding, I danced, I screamed, I even cried a little, I partied and I fell exhausted in bed.

Having such a busy weekend can hurt your camera agenda, though, so I didn't took as much pictures as I wanted to. Stay tuned, I'll be posting new ones soon.

Después de mucha fiesta y mucho evento, estoy al fin relajándome en casa. Ha sido un largo finde, os lo aseguro. He ido a mi primera boda gay. He bailado, he gritado, incluso he llorado un poco. He fiesteado y he caído derrengado en la cama.

Sin embargo, que tu fin de semana sea tan ajetreado puede dañar tu agenda fotográfica, así que no tomé tantas fotos como quería. Manteneos atentos, postearé nuevas pronto.
